Hello all,
I have a rooted NC running 2.1 off internal. I am interested in overclocking it (as this was not part of the original 'rooting' process. I was thinking about going to Froyo (2.2) or HC, but I like the stability of 2.1. I guess I have two questions. 1) Stability of 2.2? Is it stable enough for daily use? If so, does this require a complete restore to stock and re-root? 2) If I want to overclock it (using the procedures listed in another thread) do I have to re-root as well as the kernel is different? You can probably see where I am headed with this. If 2.2 is stable enough, and if overclocking requires a rebuild anyway, does it make sense to just go ahead and step up to 2.2 then follow the directions to OC it.

Hope this makes sense and I look forward to hearing your advice....
