n button broken?

Hey guys, so I picked up a nook. I put zeam on from the market. When I press the "n" button on the bottom, it doesn't go to the launcher. When I manually open the launcher (by navigating to market, going to Zeam, then Open) and change the settings for actions to the "n" button, nothing happens.

Has this happened to anyone else? Does it sound like a bum "n" button?

And.... I figured it out.

So after using autonooter, even though I used my google account creds I could never get past the initial screen. I was returned to the prompt to use my google creds. If I ignored the screen, I was successfully logged in as I could use youtube/gmail/gtalk. However, after rebooting and I got back to that screen despite failing to get past the google account login, I used "Skip" instead of logging in.

After that point, I was prompted to choose my launcher. Picked zeam, and all became well.
