I can't seem to get videos to play in phiremod. I get the preview picture in gallery, but when I go to play it, I get a message that the video can't be played.

If/when I can get videos working, this thing will be perfect. I'm probably just doing something stupid, but I can't figure it out. (yes, the videos are in mp4 format, and not too large...figure if my droid can handle a video so should the nook)

Phiremod (and CM7) do not have the DSP working yet that is needed for hardware accelerated video playback.

In the mean time until that is working I recommend using Rockplayer, its not perfect but it will play just about anything as long as the CPU can keep up.

I was about to try different kernels or something to get videos working. I like that this has the ad hoc hack already installed. All in all good rom, can't wait for a solid honeycomb release. (Ie, Google releases the code)

Ugh forgot how terrible rockplayer is. I think I'm just going to go back to autonooter until honeycomb is figured out.
