Using Nook Color as a GPS

My Nook Color just won't stop to impress me. I knew unit, but I haven't taken the time to try it out, but I finally did it:

I am seriously thinking of creating a car mount for it using Shapeways. Searching for a base 3D template now ...

I was just looking into this possibility today. I was able to make it work on my NC running stock 1.1 using an app called tether gps. You do need the ability to wifi tether to a handset in order for it to work.

Also, it looks like makes a compatible holder for the NC.
