Can't get CM7 loaded

I have done all of the steps to load the cm7 to my Nook but when I BOOT up everything goes ok until I go to install the the zips and I get a message

E:Can't open /sdcard/cm_encore_full-38.zip
(bad)
Installation aborted
E:can't mount /cache/recovery/log
E:can't open /cache/recovery/log
E: can't mount/cache/recovery/last_log
E:can't open//cache/recovery/last_log

What do I need todo????

I assume you are installing to internal?

Are you getting into Clockwork Recovery?

Have you tried re downloading CM7? Could be a corrupt download.

Verify what you are doing against these instructions:

Yes, I get into clockwork and start doing the commands
Wipe data/factory reset
Yes

Then I go to the cm7 zip and say yes

That is when I get the abort message
Could it be my SD card?
Which cm7 zip should I be using? the one that says nightly or the one that says stable?

update-cm-7.0.0-encore-signed.zip is the official release of CM7

It could be an SD card issue, did you put the correct image on it for its size?

I did use that cm7 zip

I have an 8g sd card and I loaded the 1g clockwork

Would that be a problem?

I would think so, get the 8GB one:

I got it done. Thanks for your assistance. I had to re-download both the cm7 and the gapps. then it loaded fine
