I am inclined NOT to update to Nook 1.2 right now until a root solution is available as I really like my Android Market apps.

But ... I'm wondering what happens later this week when the NC 1.2 update automatically downloads over WiFi and tries to Auto Update? Will it sense that I'm rooted and LMTFA (leave me the _____ alone) or will it decide to brick itself instead?

Anyone else feeling a little paranoid today?

I am also interested in knowing the answer to this. Dont really care if it undoes the root, since I mostly use SD CM7, just dont want to brick the device and create more work for myself. Anyone?

I have a feeling it won't do anything since the manual update does nothing unless you are on unrooted stock
