HBO Go a no-go?

I've tried to use HBO Go on my NC running CM7 and even though it installed fine, it force closes when I try to sign in. Anyone else tried this and had the same result?

Good to know I'm not the only one. Wish I knew what is causing it. Doesn't seem to be an issue with CM7.

I checked XDA and lots of others were reporting it too. There is a fix to get past the crashing at log in, but videos still won't play.

Why does the app want me to create a new HBOGo ID?? I have already created one on the HBOGo webpage.

Do I need 2 HBO ID's, one for the PC and another for my EVO phone?

I have been pulling my hair out all morning with this app. You gave me an idea, so I did create an new id and email on my phone and what do you know it worked!

So you have two HBO GO ID log in's now, one for the PC and one for your phone?

I had this problem too and found this thread over on the directv forums..

It looks like the email address is case sensitive while logging in.. Make sure you use the exact same casing as you did when you first created your HBO GO profile. (i had to switch from to
