Problems with booting from Honeycomb loaded on SD

Used a PNY 8GB Class 4 download the file placed in NC, would not boot, after several attempts the NC did finally boot and looked good. Shut down tried to boot again went through loading attempt "Android" lower left this time nothing would get it to work. Went to local Office Depot purchased a Sandisk 4GB Class 2 all worked fine although lack of memory pops up which I understand due to size. Purchased a Patriot 8GB Class 4 it loaded very slow and the operation on Honeycomb was very very slow. Does anyone know what is happening, I thought Class 4 was faster than Class 2 and what does Sandisk have over Patriot and PNY. Also, total memory on the SD only show 115MB total.
