Default Whats the latest root for CM7

    Hi everyone,

Haven't been on the board in a while since my nook crashed with CM7 from an SD, can someone point my in the best direction for the latest versions, builds for rooting cm7 from an sd card.

Is there an autonooter out yet, or are we still waiting?

The first post in this thread is kept up-to-date with instructions for installing CM7 to internal memory. The link to the new nightlies is there, as is a link if you want to install to SD.

Unless I'm mistaken, the initial install of CWM and CM7 is relatively labor-intensive. However, CWM has been updated to allow you to upgrade to future versions of CM7 with ease.

This is actually the link you want if you are going to put CM7 on SD. It was updated just a couple days ago.

I just did it also yesterday. Tried Netflix for the hell of it and was pleasantly surprised that it worked !! Awesome ! There is some hesitation and lag at times. Is an overclock kernel built in to CM7 ? I used one of the latest stable builds. It is fantastic though !!

Normal CM7 kernels can be overclocked to 925 MHz. Dalingrin's OC kernels (up to 1.2 GHz) are at . I think a couple will go to 1.3 GHz.

Does anyone know if there will be an autonooter coming out for us running 1.2 stock? I like the reader function of the nook, but love running CM7. I tried using the nook app but it will not allow me to read the magazines which is what I use my stock nook for mostly. I thought the nook app was supposed to now run magazines. If I can get the CM7 setup for it I wont need to go back an forth from EMMC to SD.
