Does SD card root work with Nook HD+?

I saw some links to the color nook root, do all nooks use the same root?
I figured the difference in hardware and screen resolution might require different files?

No each has it own way. I have not checked into the Nook HD/HD+, but the color and the tablet are different.

This not be the answer to your question, but I recently downloaded the N2A product which installs on the SD card on the HD+. It's really nice, in that you still have your original stock Nook OS, and a self-contained Cyanogenmod 10 version of jellybean 4.1.2 on the SD card. The N2A downloads are different for the different model Nook tablets, but they all end up with jellybean 4.1.2.
