Why does my battery say it is fuly charged when its not

I have the Galaxy S6, i had it for a bout 6 months and about a week ago i noticed that the phone will say it is fully charged, and the green led light would be on, but when i unplug it, it says it is at 98 percent, please help this is bothering me because of my ocd

Welcome to Android Central! Do you unplug it as soon as it says Fully Charged? If so, then next time, keep it plugged in for another 30-60 minutes after the Fully Charged indication. There's a saturation charge phase that occurs after the battery level initially hits "100%"--read more here: Charging Lithium-Ion Batteries – Battery University
