cant root... pissed

im starting to get angry..
ive searched rooting ICS and mainly got razrs edge one click method. cool. if it works for everyone then im cool with that.
so i search more into the method.. and can only find a link to a download.. no where in any of my searches says what to do with the file once its been downloaded..
forgive my newbness.. but just a link doesnt help me figure out how to root my phone..

I actually just rooted my SGS2 last week. YouTube was great. Look for the most recent posts.

I've had my Bionic rooted for over a year now, but I can't root with .246. I had the.232 leak rooted but I keep getting errors saying there are read only permissions.
I may have to try a full FXZ and see if that will let me root.

Just to update, I flashed the FXZ for .246 and was able to root just fine with Razrs Edge. I lost all data, but honestly the phone will probably run better for the clean install.
