Without linking to the video in question, I can assume you're speaking of the PlayBook? If you're talking about the THEME, yeah... that might be a feasible comparison.

However, the PB's OS is just a modified QNX RTOS, which has been around for over a decade with only subtle changes to the UI; so if anything, Pam/HP stole it from QNX.

WebOS is like Motoblur
PB's OS is like HTC Sense.

QNX is the core but different ROMS, I guess.
