The Blackphone seems to be aimed at security.

Available for preorder at $629, what do you guys think?

Trying to find out which radios will be available. If it works with T-Mo I think I might try one out.

I think the carriers in question will be Sprint and Verizon

Right...they are more than likely excluded from the party. Funny thing is, I don't really want one for the security aspect. I just like different. Finally a phone that 100 other people I know Don't own also.

Good point. As long as it is well built and runs well, it shouldn't be an issue.

If i was a gangster I'd love a phone like it, but why do you need a phone like it.
Are you afraid that someone might listen to you?

I don't care about the security uses but I'm sure there are other people (who aren't gangsters) that do. Enterprise users, everyday people that don't want to be data mined, even secure communications for police. For the everyday user I think the secure browsing is a bigger selling point than the secure phone. As I said before, I only want one because its different.
