So I have been reading as much as I can about this trying to figure out its price point. A couple of things have occurred to me.

What are the advantages of running on an i5? Does Chromium OS really need that kind of horsepower? Maybe its noticeably faster the their ARM Chromebook but holy smokes anything beyond an i3 seems like a drastic overkill. Its just running a web browser for Pete's sake!:shock:

Does Google have plans for a more evolved OS...I wonder?:-/

Also, Google is not letting on who the OEM of the Hardware is. So that made me wonder...What if they are making these in the USA(Just a question for us who live in the US) Would we (Americans) be more inclined to buy one? Albeit overpriced if it was American made. Like the Q.:-/
