Are there chromebooks which work with a smartphone's data plan?

I don't have internet at home, and at work, the Wi-Fi access is limited. However, I do have a few gigabytes of data plan with my smartphone.

Will I find this connectivity to be too restrictive with a chromebook?

Just create a wifi hot-spot on your phone and get the Chromebook to connect to it

You might be able to tether by USB. That would be in settings>wireless and networking>more.

if you have good strong coverage, like Verizon lte, the hotspot thing will do great. I have done that while traveling in the car (im not driving it) and its perfect,
