how to reset my crome book

I want to reset this device to give to my grandson but would like to leave the phoros on for him as i now have a samsung tablet

Welcome to Android Central! A couple of options:

1. Copy all of the photos onto a USB drive. Then remove your Google account from the Chromebook (or go to the Settings and do a Powerwash). Your grandson can then add his Google account, plug in the USB drive, and copy the photos back to the Chromebook's SSD.

2. Upload all of the photos to your Google Photos, Google Drive, or some other cloud storage. Then remove your account or Powerwash the Chromebook, have your grandson add his account, and then you can share your photos from your cloud storage to his account.
