reject incoming call with TEXT reply
I'm looking for a feature that is similar to some of the Samsung devices in which you can reject an incoming call and have it reply with a Text message. I have found an app or two that allows you to have it reject every single incoming call with an auto-response, like an "I'm currently driving" mode. I don't want that. I simply want to be able to choose to answer the call or reject it with a text message or reject it completely.
Any tips? - 01-09-2011, 05:27 AM #2

Like you said...its only found in some Samsung devices. You're most likely going to need an app.

It looks like Autoreply only lets you turn it on, and then every incoming call while it is on gets rejected. Is this the case?
That's what I'm looking for. Some app or widget or program of any kind to get me these functions.
Do you know of an app that works like this? - 01-25-2011, 08:13 AM

For anyone who cares: Incoming Call Plus (beta) has this feature. When an incoming call rings, you have the option to reject that call with a pre-defined text message (one of about 5 or 6 customizable messages).
It seems to work perfectly as it replaces the incoming-call screen with its own.mellojoe

I liked that back when I used a Vibrant, its a great feature. A lot of these skins by manufacturers have features that should actually come stock in Android
Sent from my Nexus SDevices: Samsung Nexus S 4.0.1(alpha, of course), Samsung Vibrant 2.3.5 CM7 w/ Glitch Kernel v13, broken HTC Dream, and a Google Cr-48 with Ubuntu 11.10
