When touching the screen the display shows a response in a separate region. The action occurs at an offset from the touch. For further detail: the tablet is a Chinese made android device. The screen was cracked and I decided to learn something and replace it myself. Both the lcd and capacitive touch elements were replaced with brand new parts. They both function at full capacity, but as previously stated there is something wrong with the touch correlation. I am ALMOST certain it is not a hardware issue. But, tell me if you think otherwise. I will investigate further upon any suggestions.
