Why is my Android tablet stuck in negative colors?

Android tablet stuck in negative colors

The display is stuck in negative colors. I'm pretty sure that the screen is ok because at boot time the manufacturer/distributor name appears in color. But when the android os
is loaded, everything is in negative color. My kid was using the tablet and somehow changed a setting.

Settings > Accessibility > Color Inversion

Thanks for your suggestion.However there is no such option under accessibility.

I've also looked looked under developer options for simulate color options and the tablet doesn't have that option either.

I'm confused. I don't know if its android lolipop or whatever. All i can see is that it is android version 4.4.2

Any further ideas?
