What happened to my screen?

So, i decided to watch some videos about games in YouTube in 720p, then suddenly there are strange lines in the screen while i'm watching, i said to myself maybe its just in the video, so i quit the YouTube app, but unfortunately the lines are still there and there are more than while i'm watching in YouTube, and i can see the colors are pink, magenta, and violet, there are some blues too but i still can navigate thru apps, search the web, checking whats up in Twitter, Instagram, Facebook.. i can play games too.. but the lines are still there.. so any idea what happened?
how can i fix this?
my phone is Huawei P8 Lite.

One of two things happened - either the screen went bad or the part of the motherboard that drives the screen did. You could just replace them both (if you think you can work inside a cellphone), but it's probably going to be easier in the long run to have a repair shop replace whichever one is bad.
