S4 crashing after changing screen dpi

I was messing with a resolution changer so that my screen could fit on the tv. Out of curiosity, I changed the screen dpi to 100, and my phone started crashing. The screen went black and there was a crash message saying that the System UI has stopped. I tried booting into safe mode, clearing the cache partition and even re-flashing the rom, but the same thing would happen. Is there a way to fix this without losing my data? If anyone could help, I would greatly appreciate it. (Also, does anyone know a custom recovery for this phone? I can't seem to find one)

My phone is a rooted Galaxy S4 i9506 on 5.0.1.

It is saying that my device is unauthorized:

List of devices attached
97cb96e6 unauthorised

I also get this when I try any command:

error: device unauthorised
This server's $ADB_VENDOR_KEYS is not set.
Try "adb kill-server" if that seems wrong.
Otherwise check for confirmation dialog on your device.

The confirmation dialog doesn't appear. I also cannot access the usb debugging settings (or anything else).
