So I rooted my droid 2 global successfully using this


Upon trying to connect to my wifi it would not connect. It would attempt to but disconnect, repeatedly. Anyone know whats going on? The wifi worked before I rooted it.

menu>system settings>about phone> system version is 4.5.629? or other

likely will need to flash 629 sbf, and start over
did you verify md5 check sums?

Im very new to all this and am learning terms still. I did get the wifi working though. Thanks. I do have another question in another post. Has to do with the SBF I suppose. The system version is through verizon. I gotta figure out how to get off verizon and to whatever network I like to get the sim card and the unlocking of the phone to work.
