Z4root not working on my droid 2

I decided to try and root my droid 2 but when I went to download z4root it said that it isn't supported on this phone anyone help?

where did you download it from,,,,,

also try this, download titanium backup, it will deny you to use it for lack of root... but open it and at the bottom it says "problems?" hit that and select yes this will update busybox.

then try z4root again,,,,this may not make it work but its worth a shot

i had no problems downloading z4 root the first time. did you try getting the link from xda forums by any chance? thats where i got my download link and had no problems at all.

I downloaded the apk to my pc and then copied it to my sd card via the usb, ran the file and success! I am now rooted, thanks guys

Z4root didn't work for me either. I'm not sure why, but there is a pretty decent root explanation on xda for Droid 2. That's how I did mine and everything's great. I'll post the link if I can find it in my cache of usefulness...
