New D2G and already have issues....

I just received my D2G as a warranty replacement for my OG D1. All seemed fine till I plugged it in and now the lights for the bottom keys wont turn off. I did the usual pull the battery and reboot but to no avail. I havent rooted or messed with this phone yet. Any ideas?

try a factory reset. you can either do this through settings> privacy & location> factory reset device. or by opening your device up into the recovery image.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I tried that before I posted here. Its not just the buttons at the bottom but the backlight as well. I have talked with asurion and they are just sending a new one. Thanks for trying.
