will rooting droid 4 allow access to free apps???

Hello to all and thank you for anyone willing to help. I have a droid 4 version 4.1.2 and am clueless but interested in finding out about rooting my phone...

There are hundreds of thousands of free apps in the Play store. You don't need to be rooted to use any of them.

If you're talking about hacked versions of paid apps that cheat the developer out of the price of the app, then we can't help you with that.
