Awesome Costco deal!!

I was already contemplating getting the phone from there since I'm already a member - longer return policy, better warranty period (at least that's my understanding). This will just be the icing on the cake! Unless by some stretch VZW corp stores are offering some kind of package deal, but I highly doubt it would come close to this. If only Costco was throwing in a 32GB microSD card too.... LOL!

Same here... Does Costco honor hardware discounts or NE2 upgrades?

That's the only thing I'm not sure of at this point. It's been a long time since I last purchased a phone from them. But my line is techincally a secondary line (moved mine over to my fiancee's plan with her kids) and so I don't know if those lines get much in the way of a discount or not to begin with....

My dad has a Cosco membership. Can I get one using his or do I need to buy one myself? How much is a membership?

He would have to be there w/his membership. You either pay cash. I think if you were to use a check you would need to have him do it. Not sure about using an AmEx or Debit though.

That deal looks really tempting.. oof.. preorder and get it earlier or go Costco and get free stuff...

I figure I've waited this long, waiting another week to get $160 worth of FREE accessories that I was kind of contemplating getting anyway won't kill me. :)

The only thing I'm not sure of after looking at this a little more (after the initial excitement died down slightly) is that after looking at this flier a little closer, nowhere on there does it say Costco....and whether or not it's a limited deal. I was planning to wait a like a week or so after it was released to see some reviews on the phone before pulling the trigger, but if the supplies are limited, I'd definitely buy day 1 to ensure all that free stuff.

I bet Costco will also have the phone available by itself for $200 or $250, but Moto will not let them advertise at a price below $299. This is Costco's way of showing buyers they have a better deal without breaking Moto's minimum advertised price.

Wow. That's a great deal. A lot of those things (at leas the GPS and desktop charger) were things I was thinking about getting, but that's another ~$80.

I don't believe Costco honors NE2, though the phone may not be $299 there (not sure on that).

Might be worth the $50 membership just to save a little on accessories. Only thing is the closest Costco is 40 miles away. Hopefully best buy has a good offer.

Just don't let you BS you into their "Executive" membership. Oof.. I made the mistake of letting them do that w/the promise the bonus will offset the increase in membership cost. Um.. yay, got a check for $12. I need to swing by my local Costco to have a little "chat" with them. Suffice to say it will not be pleasant for them as I do not like getting mislead/lied to.

I may need you to grab me one Snyders since you are the state below me with a costco LOL. The entire state of SD does not have costco in it.

I dont understand why you'd even ask whether or not Costco honors the hardware discount or NE2. Why does that even come into play when they're saying the phone is $299 and you get accessories with it. i'm sure thats with a 2-year contract, but... the price is $299. lol I'd say 'thats the same as the hardware discount' plus accessories that more than trump your $50 NE2 discount.

Not going to go sign up at Costco, I have Sams Club.

not to mention in the delay period we can get the review and get to know how the device really performs
