My Bionic

No one has mentioned but I know a while ago there was an internal verizon wireless comparison chart. I think it had the bionic, thunderbolt, etc. Well I know i saw under the simultaneous voice and chart it had yes for the bionic. Does anybody know if it will or will not??? I am tired of having to hang up just so an email or mms can be received. My friend busts my balls all the time about that. He is with at&t and he has an i**one.

If you're in a 4G LTE area then yes you can do both at the same time, just like the i*hone

if you're not in a 4G LTE area, then you can only do it on WiFi, as it is now with a 3g phone.

Ok. Thanks for that information. That makes it all the more better for me. I live in Greenville, SC and there is 4g in my area. I can live with that. Thanks for the quick reply.

I currently have the tbolt and am in 4g area. i can do both voice and data at the same time but i hear and don't quote me on this, that it is only unique to the tbolt. I am guessing the bionic should be capable of the same, it's the latest phone you know.

My understanding, and please correct me if I'm wrong, is that the tbolt is unique in that it has SVDO which allows it to do simultaneous voice (1x) and EVDO data over 3G. As far as I know, no other device on Verizon has this capability..

I don't believe the Bionic has SVDO, so it won't allow simultaneous talk and surf over 3G. However, it should work over 4G.

I stopped by my local Verizon corporate store and the manger said they have a little over 100 hundred of them waiting to be scooped up. They are not opening early so i will have to wait until 9 for the doors to open!!!!!

Has anybody who has this phone used the webtop application? And can you verify that a tethering plan is not required to use webtop firefox browser with 4G LTE connection? I understand WiFi is no problem, but I want confirmation that you can access the internet through the firefox browser using 4GLTE in webtop docked mode....Thanks
