Re: BIONIC on MOTO Mobility Website!!!!
Can't seem to find anywhere on the site that mentions how much RAM there is to confirm if it is indeed 1GB DDR2...
Unless this statement means RAM under the Technology tab:
MEMORY
16 GB on board; 16 GB microSD card pre-installed
However I think that is referring to the amount of Storage memory on the device...
Anyone shed some light?Last edited by Markurski; 09-07-2011 at 12:59 PM.

Re: BIONIC on MOTO Mobility Website!!!!
ok I am having a dumb moment. I see 2 different CDMA frequencies on the Moto site in addition to the LTE. I thought it was 1 CDMA and LTE or is it the voice and data on the CDMA frequencies then the LTE on its own? Long day at the office so like I said having an off moment and confused myself.
MULTIPLE NETWORKS
CDMA 800, CDMA1900, LTE B13 700I'd bet Cory's Right Arm on that!

Re: BIONIC on MOTO Mobility Website!!!!
There are many different types of RAM.
DRAM
SDRAM
DDR RAM
DDR2
DDR3
DDR3 is the most typical ones you see in high end computers.
DDR is mostly seen in computers 6-8 years ago.
DDR2 mostly seen in computers 3-5 years ago.
So DDR to DDR2 is a no brainer... DDR2 is almost 2x as fast as regular DDR. DDR3 is almost 2x as fast as DDR2 and DDR3 consumes less power. - 09-07-2011, 10:49 PM #18Thanked by:

Re: BIONIC on MOTO Mobility Website!!!!
Wow. This thread gave me a headache. RAM is a generic term for memory (Random Access Memory) and people getting confused because something says DDR2 and then something else says RAM... so whats better? hahaha I love non-techies. DDR2 is the 'type' of RAM.
For future reference, if something says it has "2gb of RAM", the only thing you can count on is the fact that there is a quantity of 2gb. This is not enough of a description to tell you what TYPE of ram. SDRAM < DDR < DDR2 < DDR3
Not to mention you can get into the normal Single Channel DDR(1,2,3) memory or Dual Channel, etc... there are plenty of variables to consider and not just the quantity.Judgement Day is upon us!!!!.. Bionic has gone online and became self-aware.. awaiting destruction in 3..2.. - 09-07-2011, 11:06 PM #21
