Motoblur optional??

I saw one interesting sentence in this review. Review: The Droid Bionic is the Lee Majors of Android phones: Better, stronger, faster. - Gadgets

"Verizon told us that Motoblur would be an optional install for the customer, and that it would not be required to activate or provision the device. This should mean that you can run the Bionic with a completely stock version of Android 2.3.4. "

Thoughts? Awesome if true. Highly skeptical here.

Yeah I know....that sentence came out of nowhere. But has anyone actually purchased one and got it from a Verizon store yet?

I don't know why anybody cares about motoblur. If you don't like it, just install LPP or ADW.

The latest Motoblur doesn't look bad....especially compared to Sense. Sure you can run ADW to get different launcher....but for me it's more about all the changes throughout the UI.

Ehhh the newest Motoblur isn't that bad, but I take that with a fistful of salt. I guess we only need to wait until tomorrow to find out.
