Headset issue.

I've noticed that when my headset is plugged in and I'm listening to something, if I hit the headset button on the mic, it brings up a dialog box asking my if I want to complete this action using Vlingo or Voice Commands. On all other phones I've owned in the past few years, pressing this button would pause/re-start whatever I'm listening to. Now I have to take out the phone and hit the pause button. Is anyone else experiencing this, or know of a way to fix it?
