Dvd movies to Bionic...
I'm coming from the original Droid and there was a program that you downloaded to your computer that basically converted DVD movies and sent them right to the Droid with like one push of a button. Program was fantastic. Anyone know of anything like that for the Bionic? I didn't post this to the App forum because it's technically not an app. It was a program to install on your PC that converted DVD's specific to the Droid.

10,220 of those posts are SPAM! hehe j/k
I've used Handbrake on my Mac-Mini as it seems 'real' simple to use as long as you have VLC Media Player installed. The Windows version of Handbrake seemed like it needed more 'stuff' to work and I hadn't used it for that reason. DVD Catalyst is nice too
Oh... and dont judge me regarding the Mac Mini. lol I literally bought it because I wanted a REALLY tiny computer that could be my media center/ripping station. Now, for the last 8 months its been running Win Vista and is my wifes computer hahaJudgement Day is upon us!!!!.. Bionic has gone online and became self-aware.. awaiting destruction in 3..2.. - 09-14-2011, 08:17 PM #6

+ 1 for DVD Catalyst, it is the way to go. Just keep in mind encoding takes time, depending on your system.
and I also agree Handbrake is good as a second choice.
although You have another option - I am loving the Zumocast feature. You could rip the dvds and keep the highest resolution and quality and stream them to your phone with Zumocast. I have 3TB of movies and TV Shows in .avi and .mkv that I can just stream to my phone it is awesome. Although, I have additional 400+ dvds on my server I ripped to ISO and unfortunately Zumocast won't play them - I guess I have to start re-encoding.

Re: Dvd movies to Bionic...
I use anydvd and clonedvd mobile from slysoft. anydvd works in the background and clonedvd is the user interface program. They work extremely well and are really easy to use. After you load your dvd in the drive you hit the "go" button and it takes care of the rest.
