    Default VLC Player for Android

A alpha version of VLC player is available for Android. It comes in 2 flavors NEON and NON-NEON. The version you download is based on if you have a NEON CPU or not... the Bionic has NEON.

Again... this is alpha software, use at your own risk.

all i did was download the app from Android Market. I got no questions/options about codecs during installation.

Looks like VideoLAN added the link to the Beta on the Google Play store though it's not working yet, hopefully it will be up within the day.

Can someone help out? I downloaded vlc direct but I don't think this is what I'm looking for. I want a video player and nothing more. Not something to control my player on my pc from my phone or anything like that. I put movies from my pc directly to my iphone and play them on my vlc player but I can't seem to do this with my Note 2. Any suggestions?

I may look at VLC but I'm also loving MX Video. Simple to use with nice options and controls.
