notification sound question

Hi all, I'm a recent blackberry transplant and had a question about the notification ringtone. Is there a way to disable it? I am asking because I'm using light flow and have a separate email ringtone set, but it plays both that and the stock tone under settings>sound. Essentially I am hearing both one after another.

Yes, set the ringtone to Silent in your main sound settings. It's in the list of notification sounds.
