Corporate Sync issue

Hello forum,

I am in the IT department at small organization that has an Exchange 2003 server. We have a few users with various smartphones who we have managed to connect to the server, including several users with various Android phones (I personally have a Droid 2 that is connected to the server).

One of our executives bought a Bionic today, and I was walking him through setting up a corporate sync account for his phone. Upon setting up the account, he gets an error message, "this device does not support this server version. Please contact your system administrator."

I have a hard time believing that the Bionic does not support Exchange 2003 given that my D2 works with it just fine. My D2 is on Android 2.3.3, the Bionic is on 2.3.4.

Anyone have thoughts on how to solve this problem? Are there settings on the Exchange server I could check or adjust? Are we just plain out of luck?
