gmail app not loading emails

I am having a sudden issue with my gmail on the Bionic. Emails no longer appear in my inbox without refreshing. Once I refresh they appear and I get the notification like before. Which setting will return the gmail to normal so I dont have to refresh each time? Please advise

Did you go into Settings, accounts, your gmail account, and ensure that "sync gmail" is checked?

Also make sure you have "push" enabled. That ensures email is delivered as it arrives.

If it wasn't this setting (in other words, if this was already set), the other option is to go (from home) into:

settings->applications->manage applications. Find Gmail. Tap it and tap the button "wipe data".

You'll have to go back into gmail to set up any things that you may have customized in settings, but it should start syncing your account again.

My TBolt started doing the same thing recently. Wiping the data and rebooting worked for me...

Thanks everyone. I got it to work again. I rebooted and cleanded the cache of the gmail app. That seemed to do the trick.
