Just downloaded camera zoom fx and everything is still very blurry. Curious what settings you guys are using to get clear shots.

What kind of focus are you using? Auto? Fixed? Infinity? Macro? I usually have it set to auto. You can long press the screen to change focus settings.

Its set on auto. Ill hold it steady on something and its still fuzzy and won't focus

Thats weird. Ive never had a problem getting a clear shot. Does your regular camera take clear shots?

Yep regular camera is very clear just takes forever to focus which is why I bought zoom fx. But picture quality looks terrible and I can't figure out how to get camera working properly

Im not sure what can be done other than mess with settings. I have never had this problem with the app.

Wow camera zoom works great for me, not sure what is causing that, I am on auto zoom too.

I bought Camera Zoom FX as well and I don't like the quality of the pictures it takes. The regular camera takes better pictures. For some reason the brightness of the pictures is too dim. I messed with all the settings to no avail. I'm disappointed in the app.

Change Photo settings to 8 mp instead of wide screen.

I have it set at 8 mp as well. I can't seem to get the pics as clear and defined as with the laggy stock camera.. very disappointed

that is so odd, because for me, it was. my phone now takes better pictures than my point and shoot from a couple of years age does.

My pictures look fuzzy as they are taken but going to the gallery they are actually very clear.

I use a custom ROM and I'm using the AOSP camera and my Bionic pictures look fantastic. I tone down the images to 3MP to minimize shutter lag, and because seriously, who needs a photo that's bigger than 2048x1536?

The autofocus function works surprisingly well, though I'm still a big fan of manually setting the camera to either Infinity or Macro, depending on what I'm taking a picture of.

Go to focus mode under settings. Set this to "touch screen to pre-focus, click shutter to take photo." Now before you take the photo, touch the part of the photo you want to be in focus. Then click the shutter.
