Anybody else with thick skin having touchscreen troubles?

It usually happens to me when I'm working and my hands are dirty, dusty, and dry; I'll tap, drag, and jab the damn screen which gets me a whole lotta nuthin'. My f'n phone is ignoring me.

I gotta lick my finger and WHOP ( wipe hands on pants ) before the little silicon bastard will acknowledge I exist.

Maybe I need some moisturizer "palmolive , you're soaking in it"

-rant off-;)

I play the guitar and sometimes the fingers on my left hand has trouble with interacting with the screen. Not a big deal but sometimes annoying when trying to play angry birds and birds get prematurely launched.

It's understandable that the Bionic won't respond to you if your hands are too dirty. Capacitive touchscreens require the specific electrical disturbance that clean skin provides or else the screen will have no idea what to do with your input.

The screen responds to very specific touch, not to pressure, if that makes sense.
