This is a simple question. I was messing around with tethering and I was able to connect with no warnings or anything about extra fees. I've been searching forums and the Verizon website for about an hour and only find that wireless hotspot has a monthly fee...does USB tethering have a monthly fee? I do have unlimited data on my phone plan.

Had this same question. Never found an official answer, but I also have the grandfathered unlimited data plan and have used the BIONIC's native USB tether pretty heavily over the past couple months and have not had any issues or charges on my VZW bill.
My understanding is that is IS technically a violation of your terms of service agreement with VZW, (although honestly I have been afraid to actually call VZW and ask), but they are either not paying attention or don't seem to care.

It seems to be enabled on the Bionic with no provisioning by Verizon required. It's a pretty handy feature in a pinch.
