Extended Battery Freeze

Whenever I use my extended battery, my Bionic has a tendency to lock up, frequently. It's the Motorola battery purchased from Verizon. Has anyone else had this problem or know a solution? Thanks.

Not me. I use the Moto extended battery 2 or 3 days a week and do not perceive a difference in phone stability between the two.

Does your extended battery back stay on well? Mine sometimes does not click in place well. Perhaps I have a lemon (battery).

Had the same problem, then the phone wouldn't work at all after a while. I think the weight of the battery does something the the contacts on the battery making them freeze the phone and eventually won't work at all. I returned the battery to Moto and haven't had the problem since.

Thanks for your responses. I'll start by trying to replace it at Verizon and see if a new one makes a difference.

I had this same problem on a D2G, but haven't yet needed the extended battery on the BIONIC. I didn't believe that the battery was causing the problems I was having until someone convinced me to swap it out.
