Well what software is the RAZR running

The RAZR runs 2.3.6 and as far as I know, the Bionic is still on 2.3.4 ( I just upgraded about three weeks ago from one). I hope it gets it though because it's a useful feature...especially the low battery one.

My pleasure!

When I heard that the Iphone had Suri, I added "Voice Actions" aka "Jeanne" on my Bionic with upgraded FREE voice called "Ivona" all from the market.

Then, when I heard about the Razr and having "Smart Actions", I investigated and found the superior "Tasker"

Tasker did give me headaches, trying to learn it but I love it now.

I also installed tasker. Its quite impressive. However use some caution. I set up several profiles with no issues. (Guided by the Web site support) I then set up the wallpaper to change every few minutes. Worked for a short time but about ten minutes of running it blacked my screen. Would not turn on. Battery pull didn't work rebooting in different modes didn't help. after hours of trying I had to do a factory rest. Restored with Titanium backup (props to TB ). Now debating on reinstalling tasker. Just thought I'd share.

While I agree Smart Actions is nice to have for free....I need something a lil better and will be evaluating Tasker, Locale and similar apps.

So if you dont have Smart Actions....dont sweat it. I only use it as a one stop shop now, condense multiple button presses into one. All my SA's are set to manual now too. I'm also guessing that not using Smart Actions for turning off data when the screen is off makes data reception more stable.

I finally downloaded Tasked and have a question. When I set up screen changer I want it to access the live or regular wallpaper not my pics. How do I do that? Any help would be appreciated.

I only have still wallpapers changing but I will try to figure it out.

BTW, here are the best resources I know where I learned how to do everything with Tasker:

1. Google exactly - "what Tasker profiles is everyone using??" and you will get a ton.

2. [Only registered users can view links. ]

Good luck!

EDIT: I found (on [Only registered users can view links. ]) where Tasker says "Live Wallpaper" is in the "Plans".

Thanks for the response. Will jump on it when the live wallpaper option becomes available. Tasker does have a learning curve but am getting there.
