570 hours since last reboot...Bionic is the best smartphone ever!
I've never had a smartphone that coups go more than a few days without allowing to a crawl. I have not shut my Bionic off in 24 days, and it rings like a top! How anyone could not love the Bionic is beyond me. Between the build quality and reliability, it is the best phone on the market.

And yes, the SIM card from the Bionic works great in the Xoom! - 03-23-2012, 08:07 PM #2

My Bionic is 1,000x more reliable than the POS Storms that I had (I had at least 4 of the Storm 1's and 2's). What a pleasure to own a phone that I can get tons of reliable usage out of. I use it so much, my data usage is around 7-9MB a month.

Boy did this bring back memories, most of them bad. I wanted to love the Storm, it was a messaging powerhouse and a pretty good phone. And I absolutely loved Surepress. But with the buggy OS that crashed and rebooted hourly, often in the middle of a call, it just wasn't a viable business device. I was trying without luck to get VZ to move me into a Bold or a Droid, but I finally had all I could take, let them replace the Storm one more time and then sold it and bought a used D2 off ebay. Best business decision I'd made all year. My business communication problems disappeared overnight.
I've had a Bionic for a little over a week now, it's never rebooted or crashed and it's even a better voice phone than the D2 is, and the D2 was excellent. I get great reception in low signal strength areas, it's fast and smooth and I can see it in bright daylight. With every passing day I'm convinced I made the right decision.
Now, if we can just get ICS on it. - 03-24-2012, 07:47 PM #8

I couldn't even tell you how long it has been since I have rebooted my phone, much less turned if off for more than ten minutes.

I too was a Storm owner. I feel your pain. I finally had to pull my battery last night. It was paired to my BMW, and it disconnected mid-call and would not reconnect. Battery pull and still no go. Shut the car off and restarted it, and it works again. I blamed the phone but it was the car.

Ive had to reboot my bionic a few times, maybe twice a month since bought new but I literally use it for everything (Mp3's, bluetooth remote, documents, resumes, web, camera, games, movies, emails, etc). Its in use 24/7 with random things going on simultaneously (Plus apps like zumocast use up a good amount of memory). Im sure I overtax it at times. Once I finally get a chance to root it, it should take off a little bit of stress. With that being said, its the best phone Ive ever owned. A true all in one device
