Re: Wallpaper?
This happens to me all of the time with the stock Moto launcher on my Droid 3 (which is the same launcher you have on the Bionic.) The good news is that there are plenty of really good replacement launchers that are better than stock and which do not suffer from the wallpaper problem - Go Launcher EX, ADW and ADW EX (my favorite of this bunch), Zeam Launcher. Try Go Launcher EX (which is free) and see if it works well for you. Note that there are plenty of preferences that you can set that affect the number of home screens, etc. If you do not like it, uninstalling the app will bring you back to stock, just the way that you left it.
However, do note that if you like that pull-down people widget that comes with the stock launcher, that widget only works with stock...Thanked by: - 05-09-2012, 10:30 AM

Re: Wallpaper?
I've had times when my wallpaper image had reverted back from my Go themed wallpaper to the phone's stock wallpaper, but I attributed that to a temporary lack of memory. I usually have to run a cache clearing app or reboot the phone to fix the problem. This has been quite a pain since there have been times it's happened several times in one day.

Re: Wallpaper?
As I said earlier, this is a known issue with the Droid 3 as well (which has the same launcher and Android build as the Bionic.) I have always suspected that it is some sort of memory leak in the launcher - sometimes the custom wallpaper spontaneously comes back. And, as I said, it does not happen if you switch to another launcher (at least, it doesn't happen to me.)
