    Default Was rooted, not anymore?

I rooted my phone soon after I got it. I was trying to allow an app SuperUser privileges (AirDroid) so I opened Superuser and found out that the "su binary was outdated" and tried to update. Everything works OK until "Gaining root access...fail!
So I downloaded "Root Checker" and find out that I am no longer Rooted.
I have a Droid Bionic System version 5.9.902.XT875
    Android version 2.3.4
    Kernal 2.6.35.7-g83f1a47
    Build 5.5.1_84
How do I get my phone rooted again?

When I initially rooted the phone I the only thing I changed was allowing access to Mobile Hotspot. I never installed any ROM or changed anything else.

Motofail worked for me on that configuration.
