I haven't. Have any children that might of been playing with the phone? Normally that doesn't happen on its own. Did you do a factory restore by chance?

Re: Text messages gone?
nope no children, no chance of anybody messing with my phone. It was sitting in my room all alone when I went to text my friend to meet at the gym in 10. When I went to text him my text message went "slow" to speak and when I checked to see if the message was sent I noticed all my message history was gone

Re: Text messages gone?
open your texting app and go into settings and see what you have set as message limits. this happened to me not long after getting the bionic because i had neglected to check and raise the limit, so when i reached 400 texts, phone automatically deleted everything.

Re: Text messages gone?
I have had this happen a few times in recent weeks. Text messages all disappear. When I turn my phone off and back on, all text messages are again visible, plus any that may have been sent while they were "invisible". I have no idea what causes it, but since I had the 12-31-69 issue a month or so ago, this is much easier to deal with.

Re: Text messages gone?
I've had this happen a few times lately with my S3. I open the native Messaging app or Handcent and they just show all blank. No messages.
I reboot the phone and then all the messages are right where they should have been.
Really annoying. - 03-19-2013, 09:21 AM #9

Re: Text messages gone?
I don't. My phone is not rooted as it's a work phone. Everything is stock. I do use Mighty Text but have for a while and it's never caused this to happen before.
Since the messages are gone in multiple SMS apps, it's definitely something with the OS or the main messaging service and not with any specific App. - 03-19-2013, 10:30 AM #11
