Re: Moto ICS Forums
Its really frustrating that the bionic has not received the ICS update yet, I'm starting to not like Motorola anymore just because of the way they treat their customers and their older phones. In the future I am more inclined to go with the next nexus phone or the iPhone 5.

Re: Moto ICS Forums
Here's the thing.
Adobe killed Flash for mobile, on Android it's dead for everything beyond Ice Cream Sandwich.
Flash should still work on an ICS build. Motorola shouldn't have submitted a build that breaks Flash, especially an upgrade build.

Re: Moto ICS Forums
Yes. And D4. All the moto ICS builds seem to have issues with flash. My take is that it would require a fix from Adobe to fully fix all the issues. We know that's not going to happen. Moto has stopped shipping their phones with flash and they now default to Chrome as the standard browser (which doesn't support flash). My personal opinion angers many people who insist they MUST have flash, but, quite frankly, flash on mobile is dead. Harping on a dead technology isn't going to get anywhere. It's not going to get fixed. Moto can keep trying all they want, but, all it's going to do is continue delaying the OTA. For what? Something that's not ever going to see another update? Awesome.

Re: Moto ICS Forums
I agree that it's a dead technology. But this is an upgrade. People who had it should assume that it will continue to work - especially since Flash is supposed to be working on stock ICS. Those RAZR and D4 builds should never have been approved then, IMO.
I'm not up to date in what the issues are with the ICS builds for the RAZR and D4. Is it worse on the Bionic or are they the exact same issues?

Re: Moto ICS Forums
It's exactly the same. By your logic, no one using a moto phone should be running ICS simply because flash doesn't work. I'm sorry, but, I couldn't possibly disagree more strongly than I do. Holding up a release for a feature that is never going to see an update is ludicrous.

Re: Moto ICS Forums
But again, it works on Gingerbread. And there's no going back. Were there any notes released by Verizon or Motorola for RAZR and DROID 4 owners that updated to ICS that told them that Flash would be broken? If not, I'd be pissed too.
If Flash works on other ICS devices but not on Motorola's ICS update, it really has to be a problem with Motorola's implementation.
From a customer service standpoint, it makes total sense to me that Motorola fixes this issue before releasing the update.a.k.a. RyZR from HoFo

We're going to have to agree to completely disagree on this one. I'll leave it at that.

Re: Moto ICS Forums
No one said it doesn't work at all. It won't be removed. It has bugs. That only adobe can fix which won't happen. Full screen is the biggest issue.
