It's downloading for me now. Probably not related to the fact that I hit About Phone / System Updates half a dozen times earlier this morning ...

ETA: no, TOPShogun, I'm not signed up for the soak test.

No, I did not sign up for the soak test. I received one of the other updates earlier than most people did also. I have no idea why.

Why do people always ask this (when an update starts to roll out)?

Being friendly? Trying to get to know your fellow bionic owners? Facilitating the stalking process?

its more polite than asking A/S/L?

theres a theory that verizon sends out the updates in batches based on location.

Rollouts are usually done in stages. You should receive the update soon.

    I'm on 232, if I FXZ to 905 using SamuriHL_HouseOfBionic_FXZ_(5.9.905).exe (MD5: 234ddbbd00e49f500ccd89441d6c1d57), I will lose data correct?

I am just trying to decide it I will go back to 905 (and wait for update to be available) or just go from 232 to 246 using HOB.

It seems like with the ICS stuff on there that going back to 905 would not be the best thing... is my thinking wrong here?

Use hob to go from 232 to 246 you will have no data loss.. No reason to go back to 905

I thought about going back to 905 but ultimately went to 246 using HoB last night. If you feel like a full reset would benefit your Bionic it would be worth going back to take the OTA but if you're happy just going forward HoB has worked for a lot of people. The biggest problem I had was forcing Norton to stop deleting the .exe. After that it took me two tries (rsd didn't start the first time) and I was through to 246. Just follow the instructions, be patient, and don't panic.

I decide to go from 232 to 246 and I am happy to report the process has completed and I am now running 246..

I want to thank you again SamuriHL and everyone else who helped in the script's development.

I'll report again after I get a few days in with 246

Would clearing the Google services framework get me the update faster? Or will this not work since its going out in phases?
