We're in the ICS rollout right now but...

DROID BIONIC (XT875) ICS Upgrade (Android 4.0.4) rollout to begin in Q4. Will be upgraded to Jelly Bean (Android 4.1)

Jelly Bean is scheduled. We'll see what happens though.

That's great news for sure! The bad news is about a month ago I had so many connection drops that they sent me a refurbed bionic so I bet I am last on ics probably sometime next week if I'm lucky....

Hey it's great to be on the Jelly Bean update list at all, and both my Bionic and LTE Xoom are on the list, makes me a happy guy.

Been on ICS 246 with my Bionic since last night, and all is good.

I said the same thing- my hard feelings will be gone as soon as I get 246 and jb is just a nice bonus if it happens? So heres my question does hob take a long time to download? I was gonna try and after waiting a forty mins I was only 38% downloaded so I aborted cause that seemed to long for one file?

It's not small, no. The FXZ is what takes the longest amount of time to get. I also just released 8.2 so you'll want to get that. There were some bugs in 8.1 that were causing problems. I've fixed those. If you already have 8.1 setup, just get the 8.2 installer and allow it to install over the top of your existing install.

Just think.. If the Bionic was released on time (summer of 2011 vs. September of 2011), we might have gotten cut off like the Atrix and Atrix 2 guys.

Still might if there are any delays at all with JB. We're not scheduled til after the first of the year. They're doing the new toys first. 4.5 months to get it done.

Honestly, who is still going to be on this phone by the time JB is released??? I plan on upgraded as soon as I am eligible in April!

Me unless I can get an unlockable quad core, 2 gig, awesome screen, big battery phone before then. We'll see JB before April.

For me, it'll depend on if I have a tablet or not. The lapdock and Webtop 3.0 on ICS really changed my mind about getting a Nexus 7.

I might be depending on how well the phone performs after the update. In order to keep my unlimited data I need to buy the phone outright...
