After ICS update notification bar is so small I can barely see anything (Weather Bug temp, battery level) is there any way to re-size it?

That was a philosophical decision on the part of the developers. Apparently they thought that the notification bar tended to distract from the main screen. I find myself swiping down from the notification bar just to see the icons better!

I can't read the gray icons like temp . I'm not a fan of many changes in ICS

Outside of rooting and theme-ing, there is no way to change it.
