    Default Apples and Androids

Well, I finally got my wife to bury her flip phone. Took her to a Verizon store, turned her loose and she finally settled on an iPhone 5. After setting it up and downloading some apps, she's very happy.

After all the Moto promises and delays with my Bionic AND Xoom LTE, and to keep continuity in the house (Happy wife=Good life), I also made the switch. I can tell you that after a few weeks, some frustrations, etc, I have no regrets. The iPhone works well and syncs with my Xoom, Windows 8 laptop, etc and I have all the apps I had on the Bionic. This forum has been great, too bad Moto service wasn't as good...

So rather then switch to Apple... why didn't you just buy from a different android phone manufacturer such as Samsung? Why are you blaming Moto for your decision to go to Apple? You will only get one update per year from Apple too. Oh... yeah... good luck custumizing your pretty little phone the way YOU want it..... NOT gonna happen.

    Be kind...

I bought the iPhone so my wife could operate it. I downloaded the same apps I had on my Bionic, and I am quite satisfied. I don't really care if the is another update or not. My needs are met and my wife is happy.

If it upsets you, get over it!

What he was trying to say is the company u are with is worse than the one u left. I honestly think u would've loved the sgs3 note2 or RAZR m or hd. Plus why not just get yo wife her own phone?????

There is one thing about Apple that you cannot say about *any* Android OEM at this point - they support their users better than anybody. For example, Applecare protection gets you a new iPhone with no deductible, and even if it's a refurb, they will replace that better than Assurion, etc. You never need to send your phone away for repair - it's either repaired while you wait, or you get a new handset. Even without Applecare, problems are easily fixed and Apple takes full responsibility for the repair.

I love Android, and will continue to buy one at my next upgrade, but frankly I'm bored with anybody who tries to imply that Apple and the iPhone are worse than the Bionic - clearly, it's not. In the end, everybody should buy the phone that works best for them, and why anybody else would give a crap about somebody else's buying decision I simply do not understand.

The bionic was trash IMO anyway. No way is I'm questioning the upgrade but I can question the applecare I've seen multiple people Sol wit broken iphones so the just works policy is debunked IMO.
